‘If this is not stopped, we will launch full-fledged protest program’
Srinagar | Mar 16 (PTK): JKLF chief Yasin Malik today said that Kashmiris are being harassed from Delhi to Calcutta and this intimidation has once again proved the fact that Kashmiris are not safe anywhere in India.
In a statement issued here, Malik said the persecution of Kashmiri students is like waging war against the nation of Kashmir and no Kashmiri will tolerate this state sponsored intimidation.
Reacting to media reports about Kashmiri students being intimidated in Bengal institutes Malik said that terrorizing Kashmiri students, businessmen and others living in India states is not new, but from JNU issue, this state sponsored oppression has turned ugly and Kashmiris especially students are being harassed, intimidated and hence rulers are playing with their careers.
Malik said that Indian state is hell bent upon destroying careers of Kashmiris and if this is not stopped immediately, Kashmiris will have no option but to lunch a full-fledged protest program against this oppression and responsibility of all consequences will lie upon the shoulders of Indian leaders and rulers.
He asked Kashmiris studying in Indian state to concentrate on their studies and assured them that nation of Kashmir is on their back and will not budge before oppression and tyranny.
Meanwhile, Malik has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of nephew of senior lawyer Zaffar Ahmad Shah who breathed his last today. (PTK)
