VHAI organises Health Camp in SrinagarĀ 

Srinagar, March 15: Jammu and KAshmir state chapter of Voluntary Health Association of India on Tuesday organised a health camp in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer Srinagar at Mini Maternity Hospital Pandrethan Srinagar.

An official spokesperson of the organisation said about 271 patients were treated by a group of doctors including Dr.Shabnam, Dr. Sabha and other para medical staff under the supervision of Zonal Medical Officer Dr. Mumtaza Andrabi.
He said Patients who attended the camp were treated for gastroenteritis, body ache, blood pressure, Diabetes, Urinary Tract Infection and common cough and cold. “Majority of the patients were women and children who came from the various catchment area of the mini Maternity Hospital,” he said. EH said the people highly appreciated the effort initiated by the J&K Voluntary Health and Development Associationg with the support of VHAI for providing most needed free medical treatment to the patients of Athwajan, Pantha Chowk, Pandrethan and Lasjan villages.i
