In continuation to a large no of Civic Action Programs, CRPF is also organizing National integration tour for students from Kashmir.On 01/02/2016, CRPF has sent a group of 25 boys from Kashmir on “Bharat Darshan”. The event is being organized by 183 Bn CRPF, based at Pulwama.
Sh. O. S. Charak, DIG(Operations) CRPF, South Kashmir flagged off the tour from the headquarters of 183 Bn CRPF Pulwama. During the event Sh. Neeraj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama and other senior officers of CRPF were present. The 25 kashmiri students alongwith two teachers have been selected from the Rajpora area for above Bharat Darshan Tour under the name of “ Apna Watan Jano”.
This tour is has been organised with a view to promote the national integration & to expose these students to rich historical & cultural heritage of country. The “Tour” will be from 1st to 8th February’ 2016 ,during which the group will travel from Srinagar to Delhi by flight, from Delhi to Bhopal by train, Bhopal to Hyderabad by train and from Hyderabad to Delhi by flight and will return to Srinagar by flight after visiting number of historical places, besides meeting important personalities. The tour is being organised to boost the morale of the students. During the tour, the group will be visiting India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar, Jamia Masjid , Delhi Metro and Red Fort in Delhi, Tajul-Masjid, Bhopal Lake , Van Vihar Park, Regional Science Centre in Bhopal and Salar Jung Museum, Char Meenar, Golconda Fort and Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. It has always been the endeavour of CRPF to make sincere efforts to bridge the gap between the common masses and the security forces,as a confidance building measure.
