Jammu,January 16 :-Knowing that there neither any political nor any constitutional crisis in Jammu and Kashmir which could invite strong measures in the shape of dissolution of the state Assembly
Mehbooba Mufti does not have any need to take a hasty step on taking oath as the state’s first woman Chief Minister.
Already nine days have passed on the demise of Mufti Mohd.Sayeed but Mehbooba is not in a hurry because she knows that the
state has been placed under the Governor’s rule. This way she is trying barter hard with the central Government so that the state received additional funds for implementing various
development projects. She would trying to get additional funds which may help her to buy two major power projects, built in the state and
run by the NHPC.She would wish to see the centre clearing the scheme for including Srinagar and Jammu in its programme of building over 100 smart cities.
And if she gets additional funds and clearance from the government of India for a number of schemes Mehbooba will have no hesitation in taking the oath. She wants to show the results as chief Minister which she can show only through implementation of various development projects, including increased investment by the Government and the private sector in the industries in the state which could
resolve the problem of unemployment.
Hence she wants to,before taking over as Chief Minister, clear the stage for the revival of economy of Jammu and Kashmir. And she has
received assurance from the Government of India as far as releasing additional funds were concerned. That has been the reason that she has decided to meet all PDP legislators at a gathering where she could seek their cooperation in running the Government.
Mehbooba does not want to be like a dictator and like a true democrat she would seek nod from part legislators for heading the Government.During the meeting with party MLAs she is going to divulge the assurance that the Government of India has given to her on releasing additional funds which may satisfy the legislators.
