Hundreds of aspirants from the Valley who have to sit in JKPSC Assistant Professors interview in state’s winter capital Jammu on Jan 7, demand change separate venue of the valley based aspirants.
This demand has been necessitated after JKPSC announced interviews for posts of Assistant Professors in Higher Education starting from 7th of January 2016 who had came to Jammu all along from the far-flung areas of valley.
Aspirants while criticizing the JKPSC authorities urging upon the Government to establish separate examination center for aspirants hailing from different remote areas of Kashmir valley.
“We could easily appear in the JKPSC interview if separate center will be set up in Kashmir because reaching Jammu in winter is cumbersome and costly “Aspirant Mudasir Gul Told Rising Kashmir.
He said that thousands of aspirants from different parts of valley region had to reach Jammu to appear in the interview and for the economically weak aspirants, it is very difficult to manage stay in Jammu”
Concerned students appealed Government and JKPSC authorities to setup a separate center for Kashmir based aspirants.
