HEGEMONY OF PARALLAL GOVERNANCE

Junaid Malik

Parliamentary governments are actually the mouth piece of common masses who bring their relevance and legacy from the people itself but the irony of the developing nations is that they have borrowed these institutions and have always acted in a very perverted manner marring the very concept of democratic set up. India too with in its borrowed bag of constitutional set up tried to establish a democratic set up but lost its aura and sheen due to the prevalence of other shadow concepts of ethnical lineages of caste region religion and other ambits of non-democratic set up
Since the coming to power  the NDA government at the centre after securing thumping majority and clean mandate though may be due to polarisation of religious sentiments has not been able to stand its succour of success. Soon after the swearing to the throne the frenzied elements casted their high heads to annihilate the social set up of multi-cultural and multi ethnic society that soon came under the gory slogan of intolerance. May it the lynching of ikhlaq ahmad in national capital or the burning of drivers in Jammu ,these frenzied elements brought out their tentacles and venomous stings to frighten intimidate the minorities in every nook and corner of the country. But the head of the state under the aegis of right wing groups is maintaining a grave yard silence giving a tacit support and recognition to their inhuman and anti-national activities. The head of the state is trying its level best to masquerade and camouflage these acts by glorifying himself as a world leader and a statesman par excellence per se.at the home turf these right wing groups either in a state or in interstate relationship have gone high head to the extent where they swagger in open spaces and roads brandishing weapons with high cries, sloganeering  and rants so as to burp fears and apprehensions with in smaller groups reminding them of the nemesis  of dividing days of yester years.

These feelings of discontent and alienation have now surfaced to every section of the society more particularly to the intellectual class who have been nipped and chocked to utter any word which is itself the dooming end of a intolerant society. Even the father of Indian constitution though literary Bhim Rao Ambedkar had himself predicted that if these right winged groups will ever come to power corridors they will destroy the social fabric of multi ethnic society of India. Though these actual groups controlled the political set up of india more covertly but as of now they are in folded cuffs and open swords to suppress any voice of secular over tones who still at the fage end of these dark days trying to find a silver line.
Coming back to our own land which is the only muslin majority state in the country quantitatively albeit the ratios have been reversed many a times in the history of state itself these right winged groups could not make their inroads in to the labyrinths of our political history but all kudos to the few people democratic groups and heads of conferences that these fanatics have finally made their debut in the state politics. Showers are being praised and red carpets are being laid to soften the feet of these over ambitious groups to satisfy their quench of decades.

The people of Kashmir have been sold many a times like sheep and goats but now onwards they will be sold constitutionally under the ambit of collective conscience of the society. Gone are the days when people needed permit to enter the state till 1959 but as of now they have been issued a life time franchise to come with barter to sell and buy any commodity including the most affordable and cess free commodity of human blood. We must ponder we must introspect and we must rise as a nation to save our mother land the way sons saves their mother ;the way the brothers save their sisters and the way the mothers save their sons. This slumber will lead to the success of those who had been in insomnia to gobble this spa since ages.
