JAMMU, NOVEMBER 06: In order to educate the breeders about the improved health coverage, parasitic diseases and prevention of bacterial and viral diseases timely, the Migratory Project of Sheep Husbandry department organized special mass deworming camp in far off areas of Surinsar and Badga in block Dansal.
During the camp, 3800 sheep and goats belonging to 15 migratory breeders were drenched with the anthelmintics for treatment against various mixed parasitic infestations.
The aim of organizing such camps is to make the livestock rearers aware about the benefits of timely dosing, vaccination, latest scientific techniques for investigation and diagnosis of prevalent diseases of sheep and goats.
