Srinagar, Nov 06 (KNS):
So-called rulers have accepted defeat even before the contest by handcuffing and putting into jail the whole resistance camp and by choking every little space to it. To make their masters rally a success, so-called rulers, their police and occupational authorities have unleashed such kind of terror against peaceful political activists and leaders including JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik, No example of which can be found even from 1990’s when people were arrested during armed struggle .The sad demise of veteran journalist, intellectual Jenab Ved Bhasin Jee a great loss for Jammu Kashmir. Nomination of Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo, editor in chief greater Kashmir group, in prestigious editor’s guild of India, a pride moment for which he deserves our heartiest congratulations.

This was stated by the incarcerated and ailing chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) in a message sent from imprisonment. Yasin Malik who despite illness was arrested on 31st October 2015 has been put into a solitarily confinement and from last four days even relatives are being barred from meeting him in custody. JKLF chairman is suffering from renal and neck problems and is not being provided any medical facilities in custody.

Terming this oppressive behavior of PDP led rulers as unilateral state terrorism of worst kind, incarcerated JKLF chairman in his message from custody said that mufti government for the lust of power has unleashed such kind of terror on thousands of political activists and leaders of which no match can be found even from the days when people were arrested for taking part in armed struggle in 1990’s. He said that cutting political activists from outside world, imposing ban on their meetings with even close relatives and other oppressive measures has exposed the ugly face of mufti rule. Yasin Malik said that police and occupational authorities in order to prove more loyal than the king are perpetuating worst state terrorism and are busy in worst illegal acts. He said that after handcuffing and arresting the entire resistance camp and putting barricades and barriers on people’s movements PDP rulers are shamelessly trying to declare themselves winners .instead they should have some shame and diffidence, added Yasin Malik. He said that such is the brazenness of PDP rulers that in order to make their master Nerander Modi’s Jalsa a success, they have crossed every limit of tyranny and suppression. He said that the limit of shamelessness can be measured by PDP’s decision of not allowing their party flags inside the Jalsa venue because its green color may irritate their “so called non communal and all inclusive guest”. Yasin Malik said that PDP and other pro RSS people should remember that by gathering a rented crowd and by gathering SPO’s, daily Wagers, Aangan Wadi workers and other people like these, they can deceive Nerander Modi but not the people of Jammu Kashmir. While condemning the curfew and restrictions in Srinagar today and banning Friday prayers and solidarity rally, Yasin Malik said that putting ban on people who wanted to remember those massacred at Jammu in 1947 is condemnable and rulers taking dictates from Nagpur can only do acts like these.

While expressing his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of veteran journalist, intellectual and a staunch support of Kashmir’s freedom, Jenab Ved Bhasin Jee of Kashmir times group, Yasin Malik said that by his demise Kashmiris have actually lost a great friend and human being. He said that Kashmir times is a great institution that has served the cause of oppressed and credit for establishing such a great institution goes to Ved Bhasin Jee. While expressing condolences to his bereaved family including daughter Anuradha Jee,Yasin Malik said JKLF shares their grief and sorrow.

While congratulating veteran journalist and editor in chief of greater Kashmir group of news papers Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo for being nominated as a member of prestigious editors guild of India, Yasin Malik said that greater Kashmir as its name suggests has stood for the rights of Kashnmiris always and this institution and its owner and editor in chief Fayaz Kaloo’s tireless hard work ,objectivity and professional services have won him these honors’ for which he and his entire team deserve congratulations. Yasin sahib expressed confidence that greater Kashmir will keep doing its good works and will always side with oppressed and downtrodden people of Jammu Kashmir.

Meanwhile crackdown on JKLF is continuing as police have arrested JKLF district president Islamabad Muhammad Ishaaq Gainaie, activists Muhammad Ramzaan Sofi and many others in nocturnal raids. It is worth to mention that JKLF ailing chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, zonal president Noor Muhammad kalwal, deputy chief organizer Mir Siraj ud din Davood, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, senior resistance member Muhammad Amin Magloo, district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather(Boya), JKLF district president Kupwara Muhammad Rafiq war ,district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, activist Mushtaq Ahmad Koreg, Muhammad Altaf Raina, Fayaz Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Ayub Naikoo,Tanveer Ahmad from Kangan and Imtiyaz Ahmad from Bijebihara, Fayaz Ahmad Lone and Imtiyaz Ahmad from Srinagar and others etc are languishing in police custody from last many days while has police has raided the residences of many JKLF leaders and activists throughout the valley.
