Modi may attempt to break unity of Hurriyat: LeT

Condemns arrest spree of separatist leaders ahead of Modi’s visit

‘Pro-freedom leaders should be extra-vigilant’

Srinagar, Nov 4: Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) Wednesday said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi may attempt to break the unity among pro-freedom leaders by offering them talks with center.

Commenting on the rumors of revival of talks with Hurriyat leaders, LeT spokesperson said it was the move to divide the united leadership of J&K.

“Modi government is using every tactic to curb the sentiments of freedom fighters. However, Hurriyat leadership is united over one point that is Freedom from Indian occupation and this unity is giving sleepless nights to Indian establishment which is hell-bent to break this unity,” he said in a statement.

“Participation of people in Funeral procession of Abu Qasim should be an eye opener for Indian establishment as the participation shows people won’t sell out sacrifices made by the youth,” the spokesperson said.
