Bandipora, Oct 22: Continuing with its interaction program with Gujjar Community People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday held a meeting of workers from Gujjar community at Tangbuthoo Ajas, Gujjar Pat.
The meeting was presided over by States Gujjar Development Board member Mian Mohammad Nooranie, PDP zone president Mohammad Amin Mir and constituency in-charge Inam-ul-haq.
According to a statement, the meeting was attended by hundreds of workers from gujjar community of Tangbuthoo Gujjar Pati. “The meeting was aimed to chalk out a strategy to make the Party-hold strong in the areas inhabitated by gujjar community of Bandipora in general and Ajas gujjar pati in particular,” the statement said.
The statement said the speakers on occasion appreciated the efforts of Gujjar community for showing all out support to the party. They said that the contributory spirit of this community will be promoted at all costs.
The speakers told the workers to work at grassroot level to consolidate support from people in order to make the party base strong in areas inhabitated by gujjar community.
They exuded confidence in the party leadership that they will work for the upliftment of this deprived community and pull the, state in general and Gujjar community in particular, out of this morass.
