2nd Top-50 Examination Results declared

Maleeha Anjum tops the list

Bandipora, October 07: Bandipora Department of Education Wednesday declared the result of the 2nd round of Super Fifty Examination that was held in the district in September.
Maleeha Anjum from Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora has topped the test with 157 points followed by Faisal Shafi Wani with 140 points. Maheen Bashir of High School Bagh secured 138 points out of total 220 points.

An official of the department said it is heartening to see students from all five educational zones including Bandipora, Quil, Sumbal, Hajin and Gurez making their mark in the Top 10. He said each participating school will receive the detailed mark list of their respective students in the coming week.

The program of top fifty is part of the New Leaf Initiative (NLI) with the aim to give the best students of class 10th hailing from District Bandipora an opportunity to prove their metal in the upcoming board exams.

Under this program a mock test series was started for the students in four main subjects viz mathematics, science, social science and English. The main aim and objective of this start is to make Bandipora shine in the board exams by securing many top positions.

The first mock test was conducted on 22nd August at Boys Secondary School Bagh while the 2nd test was conducted on September 23.

Meanwhile Director School Education Shah Faesal and CEO Bandipora has congratulated the students and hoped that Bandipora will shine in upcoming Secondary School examinations
