Bandipora, Oct 3: A driver has been arrested by a police team from Shilwat Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district for allegedly making porn mobile videos of ‘innocent’ girls.
The accused Maqbool Ahmad Mir was absconding from past two months and was arrested after his obscene videos went viral.
Since the videos went viral on internet locals were demanding the immediate arrest of the accused as according to them the said driver after luring the ‘innocent’ girls make their porn videos.
The accused got exposed after his 10 minute porn video with a local girl went viral. “Taking cognizance of the video, we registered an FIR vide number 169/2015 under section 376 RPC against the accused driver Maqbool Mir. He was evading arrest, however police managed to nab him on Saturday from his native village,” SDPO Sumbal Rashid Akbar told CNS.
He added that there may be others involved in the scam. “The accused is being thoroughly questioned and more arrests are expected in this regard,” he said.
Meanwhile, locals while hailing the police action demanded severe punishment for the accused. They said that criminals like Mir are the continuous source of waywardness immoral degradation in the society
