Bandipora, Sept 25: Government High School Plan Nowpora Bandipora organized an awareness programme on Health, Wellness, and First Aid as part of the ongoing Sewa Parv celebrations.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students and teachers, emphasizing the importance of healthy living and readiness to provide first aid during emergencies.

Students delivered speeches and presentations highlighting the significance of physical, mental, and social well-being. They stressed that a balanced diet, regular exercise, proper hygiene, and stress management are key to maintaining good health.

The first aid session focused on equipping students with practical skills to respond to emergencies such as cuts, burns, fainting, and nosebleeds. Demonstrations showed how timely first aid can save lives before professional medical help arrives. Teachers also shared insights and encouraged students to spread awareness about first aid within their homes and communities.

Cultural Coordinator Zahoor Ahmad Lone said the initiative not only supports academic growth but also prepares students to face real-life challenges with confidence. He added that activities under Sewa Parv aim to instill service, responsibility, and awareness among the younger generation.

The programme concluded with a collective message that “healthy individuals make a healthy nation,” urging students to act as ambassadors of health and safety in their surroundings.
