Bandipora, Sept 18: The 12th edition of the Dada Sir Knockout Football Championship was inaugurated today at SK Stadium Bandipora by DYSP Agarwal along with the head of Elfa International.
The opening clash saw Hashmi FC taking on Ganderbal. A total of 24 teams from across Bandipora district are competing in the first round, while the second round will see participation from teams outside the district.
Organisers said the tournament aims to engage youth in sports and provide a platform to showcase their talent. The event is sponsored by Elfa International.
