PAMPORE, October 1: The Geology and Mining Department, Pulwama, seized 11 L&T machines allegedly being used for illegal mining during a night operation in Gunasnard Wuyan area of Pampore tehsil, officials said.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of District Mineral Officer (DMO) Pulwama Javaid Ahmad Malik (KAS) following information about unauthorised mining activities being carried out during night hours.
