Bandipora, 11 Oct : At least 10 residential houses and Four cowsheds gutted and while atleast 28 sheep died in a massive fire, which engulfed several houses in Baduaab Village of Gurez of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on intervening night of 10th and 11th october.
Eyewitnesses said that fire broke out from one house which engulfed several other structures, including ten residential houses, four cowsheds were completely gutted in the incident.
An Official said that Fire fighters with the help of Police, Army and Locals after putting in hard efforts, they controlled the fire from spreading further. Meanwhile no loss of human life was reported in the incident.
An officer told that the cause of the fire could not be known immediately however police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations into the cause of fire were being ascertained. (PTK)
