Pattan 31 March 2018: The project Kashmir Super 30 (Medical) has been conceptualised to secure a better future for Kashmiri youth and is a full time residential program to coach and guide them for a period of twelve months for entrance examinations of various Medical Colleges spread across in India. The program will run on exactly the same lines as “Kashmir Super 30 (Engineering)’ wherein a Kanpur based NGO, National Integrity & Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) will provide the faculty members for academics and the Army would oversee the overall operations to include administration and logistics with requisite annual funding through Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).
As part of Army's sustained initiative to secure a better future for Kashmiri youth, Indian Army under the aegis of Chinar Corps, signed MoUs with corporate partner Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and training partner National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation, (NIEDO) on 15 Mar 2018 at Chinar Corps which was witnessed by Lt Gen AK Bhatt, AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC 15 Corps and Mr. Ajit Singh, Executive Director, HPCL and various other senior Army officials and civil dignitaries.
Indian Army after a detailed research and field work has nominated a Kanpur based educational trust named National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO), which will provide quality faculty for professional coaching. In order to educate the under privileged students from science stream on the various program hosted by NIEDO a Seminar cum Awareness progam was organised at HQ 10 Sect RR, Haiderbeg on 31 Mar 18. Many imp civil dignitaries from NIEDO, HPCL and Senior Army officials attended it and shared their experiences with the students and teachers of North Kashmir.
The Chief Guest Dy Goc Brig Vikram Singh Yadav , speaking on the occasion highlighted that Army is emphasising efforts which not only provides just skill development training but also ultimately result in carrying employment opportunities to the under privileged sector of Kashmir. Such effort are a result of continuous interaction of Army with the Awaam. The students hailed the sustained effort by Army, which will result in not only facilitating the underprivileged talented students but also will enable them better employment opportunities. This is an effective tool to transform the Kashmiri society and enthuse a new ray of hope for the under-privileged.
The Chief Guest complimented the NIEDO, HPCL and educationlists for their maturity and responsibility with which they have been conducting academic affairs and hoped that they would play their role with much dedication and zeal. He also expressed his gratitude to the invitees for their whole hearted support to make this event meaningful and informative for the students.
In the end Individual queries and consulations were addressed on a one to one basis by the representative of NIEDO and HPCL at separate interactive and counseling session.
