‘Targeting civilians a shameful, inhuman act’

Srinagar, Mar 29 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Wednesday paid tributes to the slain militant and the three civilians killed in encounter and clashes in Chadoora area of Budgam district on Tuesday.
In an e-mailed statement to KNS, LeT spokesman, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah as saying, “Targeting civilians and use of huge forces against a single militant is shameful and inhuman act, which is also highly condemnable.”
He said, “We know that the Indian forces are usually committing such atrocities and the increasing terrorism by India is tantamount to acceptance of defeat.”
Mehmood Shah said, “India should keep it in mind that the situation would soon get out of their control as the people of Kashmir and militants are fighting together now.”
He said, “The International Human Rights organizations and the world community should take notice on the targeting of civilians and should title India as terrorist country.”
LeT chief said, “The India under a well planned conspiracy are turning Kashmir into ruins. If Pakistan really wants to take step over resolving the Kashmir issue then they must take any concrete step in this regard as the Valley is witnessing killings on every day.”
He said, “The India strengthened their occupation in Kashmir by giving a lollipop of dialogue process and to wait for such process is tantamount to giving them a space to further strengthen their occupation.”
Shah further thanked the people for showing their love towards the militants. “We will fight for the freedom with the support of the people and will take this movement to the logical conclusion,” he added. (KNS)
