Wani condemns police brutality against a photo journalist in Srinagar

Demands stern action against police officials involved in brutality

Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): President employees joint action committee and chairman J&K teachers forum Abdul Qayoom Wani condemns the police brutality against Touseef Mustafa a senior photo journalist in Hyderpora Srinagar yesterday.
In a statement issued to KNS, Wani urged upon the higher authorities to intervene in the matter and demands stern action against the police officials involved in the brutality.
It is mention that a senior photo journalist was ruthlessly beaten up by police officials when he was professionally performing his duties in Hyderpora Srinagar.
Wani while said that journalists always bring out the facts before people and works for the eradication of social injustice n evils.
Wani while condemning this police action said that police is there for the safety and security of the people and this kind of actions always hurt the sentiments of people.
