Geelani pays tributes to Muzaffar Ahmad

‘Criticizes criminal silence of world community

Srinagar, Jan 08 (KNS): Paying rich tributes to the Martyr Muzaffar Ahmad Naikoo (Muzaffar Molvi) martyred at Mochwa, chairman Hurriyat (G), Syed Ali Geelani said that our youth lay their lives to end the age old slavery of their nation, putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders to honor these sacrifices and take the movement to its logical end.
Criticizing the criminal silence of the world community, Syed Ali Geelani said that their insensitivity and unconcern is the sole reason for this unabated bloodshed.
In a statement issued to KNS, pro-freedom leader said that the world forums, who stand witness to our dispute, act as mute spectators, thereby legitimizing and legalizing the brutalities unleashed in this region for the last 70 years.
He said that had these super powers acted to their tall claims, India could not have dared to continue its repression and peace would have been ensured since long.
Paying glorious tributes to the martyrs, Geelani said that, youth are on the forefront of the movement whether laying their precious lives, or livelihood, or facing the hardships in jails. He said that they bravely and willingly offer their today for ourtomorrow.
Pro-freedom leader said that our nation has used every democratic and peaceful means for about 40 years to fight this aggression—but India has responded ruthlessly and beastly without giving an ear to the aspirations and just voices, negating the historical legitimacy of this dispute. He said that this arrogance, haughtiness and persistent denial can’t hold water for long and India has to come to terms with the writing on the wall, lest this unresolved and unaddressed volcano can erupt and burst anytime—engulfing millions of people in this region.
Geelani said that it is the 4th generation which is daring Indian autocratic, illegal and forced occupation.
Meanwhile paying glorious tributes to Shaheed Sajad Ahmad Keenu of Islamabad on his 21st anniversary, Hurriyat chairman said that mature and conscious nations can never afford to forget martyrdom of their loved ones. He said that every family harbors martyrs and any compromise or deviation from their path is an insult to their sacred blood.
Strongly condemned the molestation and sexual assault of a Ladakhi teenager in Jammu, Hurriyat Conference (G) has said that this immoral acts by the goons expose the deceitful slogan of puppet women Chief Minister, that Jammu and Kashmir being safe place for women.
Hurriyat said that “active and prompt police” catches hold of the pro-freedom people even by smelling them, but the inhuman actions by the road side romeos are deliberately brushed aside, by the mute spectators of this tyranny. Hurriyat said that culprits of this shameful act should be exposed and brought to book to ensure the sense of safety amongst our womenfolk. (KNS
