Militants give slip to Forces again in Bandipora after injuring two soldiers.

Bandipora,29 Dec:- Militants on Thursday managed to give slip to government forces after they indiscriminately fired on them at Shahgund area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Sources said, acting on a specific information regarding the presence of three foreign militants, Army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) camped at Manasbal and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned-off shahgund area of Bandipora district early morning.
According to witnesses, militants resorted to indiscriminate firing creating panic in the area injuring two army soldiers. The soldiers belonged to Army’s 13RR identified as Naik Madan and Sepoy Krishan who were immediately evacuated to military hospital and are said to be in stable condition.
However, the Militants managed to escape from the encounter site and are believed to be foreigners. Government forces later launched massive manhunt in Shahgund and adjoining areas against these militants, sources said.
Police official talking to Kashmir Convener, said that they have called off search operation in the area, However, two army soldiers sustained injuries during the exchange of firing who are stated to stable, he said.
Earlier, last week government forces cordoned off Parray Mohalla of Hajin area, however militants fired on them and managed to escape. Later people came out of their homes and started chanting pro freedom and anti-India slogans forcing army to call off the operation.
