JK integral part of India: Rajnath

‘Separatists did not show Insaniyat, Kashmiryat’

Srinagar, Sep 05 (KNS): Virtually closing doors of dialogue with separatist and hinting at continuing engagement with the mainstream political parties Home Minister Rajnath Singh Monday said “Jammu & Kashmir is, was, and will remain an integral part of India”.
The separatists had Sunday refused to talk to some members of the All Party Delegation who had gone to meet them but they refused to talk within Indian constitution.
Addressing a press conference before leaving for Delhi Home Minister while responding to the invite of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to the separatist and the attempt of some members of the All Party Delegation to separatist said “The invite of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was her personal decision and separatists by refusing to talk to members of the All Party delegation who had gone to them in their personal capacities have not shown respect to Insaniyat, Jamhooriyat and Kashmiryat”.
Restricting the offer of dialogue to just peace and normalcy the Home Minister said “not only doors but even our windows are open to those who want peace and normalcy in the state”. Instead of replying questions of media men on autonomy and self rule the home minister said “We have meet 300 people and received several suggestions including civil society members and intellectuals”. On the use of pellets guns the home minister did not announce ban but said “around 1000 of PAVA shells have reached Srinagar and this is the alternative and I believe these shells won’t kill people”.
