Srinagar | Sep 05 (PTK): Chairman Islamic Political Party Mohammad Yousuf Naqash today expressed grief over the continuous state-terrorism in Kashmir while terming the visit of Indian ‘All party delegation’ as time-buying process aimed at just furthering the illegal and forcible occupation of Jammu Kashmir.
According to a statement issued to PTK, Naqash expressed deep anguish over the incident and castigated authorities for inflicting such brutality upon people as well as leaders.
He also rejected Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s rhetoric that Kashmir is India’s integral part and that Hurriyat should have talked to the All Party delegation.
“The Indian leaders can keep on saying this but the reality is that Kashmir was never part of India nor will it ever be. India has to leave the territory of Jammu Kashmir at all costs,” he said.
He said the Indian delegation should also read writing on the wall that the only thing Kashmiris want is freedom from India which the resistance leadership as well as people of the State have time and again made clear to New Delhi.
“Still, they (all party delegation) came, tried to mislead the world by reaching out to resistance leadership for talks but ultimately had to return disappointed. They should consider this rejection as writing on the wall that their need is not required as Kashmiris have decided not to rest till achievement of freedom from Indian rule,” he said, adding that it would be better for the delegation to return to New Delhi.
Terming the occupational forces as inhuman, the Hurriyat leader castigated them for maiming the innocent kids Barena and Zafar and injuring two photojournalists Zuhaib Maqbool and Muzamil Mattoo, who became the latest victims of pellet guns. He also condemned the firing of pellets and teargas shells by savage forces inside the shrine of Shah-e- Hamadan (RA) in Tral town and termed it barbaric. He expressed deep grief over the unfortunate incidents which he said has become a daily routine in Valley.
“India and its puppets in J&K are so shameful that on one hand, they beg for talks and on other side continue to kill, maim, and blind our youth and children. This is the height of barbarism and state-sponsored terrorism,” he said.
“This is so unfortunate and reveals the irresponsible behavior of the world leadership and international bodies,” he said. (PTK)
