Khalid Raeeq demands streamlining of SSA salary
Hajin Bandipora 29 April: Urging the state government to fast track the resolution of issues of Rehbar e Taleem teaching community the Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar e Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) has sought the early streamlining of SSA salary.
As per a press statement released Friday, senior JKReTTF leader and District President Bandipora Khalid Rafeeq Bhat termed the non payment of SSA salaries from last four months as a grave crisis wherein teachers are bearing untold miseries and reeling under financial predicament.
Addressing a meeting of Rehbar e Taleem teachers at Hajin Bandipora Khalid Rafeeq Bhat said that SSA teachers have to grapple with severe difficulties and at every passing day their woes increase manifold. They get notices from banks and other financial companies from where they had earlier availed loans and fail to pay back their debts.
He said the SSA teachers and their families are passing through traumatising situation due to these constraints. Mr Bhat also said that how can teachers deliver quality education in class rooms when they face agonizing situation back home.
Cautioning the state government over its callous approach, Khalid Rafeeq said the Rehbar-e-Taleem teaching community will be compelled to hit the streets and stage protest for mitigation of this burning problem.
Bhat advised the teachers of Bandipora to gear up for a massive rally in summer capital in near future and JKReTTF has already formed a programme in this regard.
